The Worcester Guardian follows the standards set forth by the Institute for Nonprofit News (INN) regarding donor transparency and editorial independence.

Our Commitment

We are committed to:

• Maintaining complete editorial independence from our funders
• Disclosing all donors who contribute $5,000 or more annually
• Refusing donations that come with conditions affecting our editorial coverage
• Regular updates to our donor list as new contributions are received

Editorial Independence

Donors do not have any influence over our editorial decisions, story selection, or coverage angles. Our editorial team operates independently and makes all journalistic decisions based on newsworthiness and public interest, not funding sources.

Disclosure Requirements

In accordance with INN standards, we disclose:

• All organizational donors contributing $5,000 or more annually
• All individual donors contributing $5,000 or more annually
• Any potential conflicts of interest related to donor relationships
