Caps off, Worcester! Here’s your graduation schedule

Graduation season is here—here’s when and where Worcester’s Class of 2025 walks the stages

WORCESTER— Spring in Worcester means blooming trees in Elm Park, WooSox games at Polar Park, a spike in allergy meds—and a whole lot of cap-tossing across the city.

As graduation season kicks off, students are counting down the days until they walk across the stage and into whatever comes next. Between public and private high schools in Worcester, hundreds of students will be walking across the stage to receive their diplomas.

Here’s the lineup of high schools in Worcester with graduation ceremonies planned for 2025:

  • Saint Paul Diocesan Junior-Senior High School: Thursday, May 22, 7–9 p.m., at Mechanics Hall, 321 Main St. saintpaulknights.org.
  • Doherty Memorial High School: Tuesday, May 27, 6–8 p.m., at the DCU Center, 50 Foster St. Tech High+1Tech High+1. Class notes: valedictorian is Dea Kamberi, who has earned the 2025 Distinguished Young Woman of Massachusetts title.
  • Worcester Technical High School: Wednesday, May 28, 6–8 p.m., at the DCU Center, 50 Foster St. Class notes: guest speaker is Monti Washington, actor and author, recently spoke at Worcester Tech about goal setting.
  • Abby Kelley Foster High School: Thursday, May 29, 6 p.m., at the athletic fields at the high school, 10 New Bond St. (Rain date: Friday, May 30) AKFCS
  • University Park Campus School: Thursday, May 29, 6–8 p.m., at Clark University, Atwood Hall, 950 Main St. Worcester Public Schools
  • Gerald Creamer Cente: Monday, June 2, 10 a.m. to noon, at the Hanover Theatre, 2 Southbridge St.
  • Worcester Alternative School: Tuesday, June 3, 10 a.m. to noon, at Polar Park’s DCU Club, 100 Madison St.
  • Burncoat High School: Tuesday, June 3, 6–8 p.m., at the DCU Center, 50 Foster St.
  • South High Community School: Wednesday, June 4, 6–8 p.m., at the DCU Center, 50 Foster St.
  • Claremont Academy: Monday, June 9, 6-8 p.m., at the Hanover Theatre, 2 Southbridge St.

Graduation present tip: While your grad will enjoy flowers, they would likely also appreciate a bouquet made of cash, keys to a new ride or some stocks and bonds. Congratulations to all the Worcester graduates this season!
