Four arrested in Dorchester Street fatal shooting

Collaborative effort leads to arrests in connection with Dec. 16 homicide

WORCESTER—Authorities have arrested four individuals in connection with a shooting that left one dead on Dec. 16 at 58 Dorchester St.

At approximately 2:30 a.m., officers responded to reports of gunfire and discovered a male victim in a vehicle suffering from multiple gunshot wounds. The victim was transported to a hospital but succumbed to his injuries.

An investigation by detectives led to the identification of four suspects. Those charged with armed assault with intent to murder include Adrian Rodriguez, 33; Dylan Driscoll, 19; Darius Perkins, 20; and a juvenile whose name has not been released due to age restrictions.

Driscoll was apprehended in New Jersey by the Hardyston Township Police Department on a warrant related to the case. The other three suspects—Rodriguez, Perkins, and the juvenile—were arrested the morning of Dec. 18 in Fitchburg through a coordinated effort involving the U.S. Marshals Fugitive Task Force, Massachusetts State Police VFAS, and local police departments from Fitchburg, Leominster, and Worcester.

Authorities have not released additional details about the victim or the circumstances surrounding the incident. The investigation remains ongoing.
