Millbury man guilty of 2021 child rapes

Jury convicts 27-year-old on six counts; sentencing set for Aug. 25

WORCESTER—A Worcester County Superior Court jury has convicted a Millbury man of raping a 15-year-old girl in a series of assaults that took place across three towns in 2021, prosecutors announced Friday.

After a two-day trial, jurors found Colton Paszkowski, 27, guilty of six counts of rape of a child. He was acquitted of a separate charge of witness intimidation. Following the verdicts, his bail was revoked and he was taken into custody, according to Worcester County District Attorney Joseph D. Early Jr.

The assaults occurred in Northbridge, Millbury, and Sutton. Paszkowski was arrested in December 2021 and indicted in Worcester Superior Court in March 2023.

“This sexual assault survivor showed great strength and courage while testifying about her ordeal,” Early said in a statement. “I want to thank the Northbridge, Millbury, and Sutton Police Departments, as well as Assistant District Attorney Mark McShera and Victim Witness Advocate Taylor Picard, for their hard work on this case.”

Paszkowski is scheduled to be sentenced Aug. 25 by Judge William Ritter.
