WORCESTER – A locally owned juice business expands with a second location inside the Worcester Public Market.

Isiah Tatum and Noel Stemn have operated Woo Juice at the MidTown Mall on Front Street since 2022. Their new location is expected to open next week, the men confirmed following a meeting with the Worcester License Commission on Thursday.

Commissioners approved a common victualler license for the business at their meeting.

The men, both graduates of the Nativity School of Worcester, developed their juice business in Tatum’s basement.

The eventually took their Worcester-centric creations to MidTown Mall where they serve up concoctions such as Airport Hill Sunrise, Water St. Cure and The Goldstar Bully.

A smoothie, the Nativity Knight, is named for their alma mater and contains strawberries, blackberries, blueberries, raspberries, almond milk and coconut water.

They also serve wellness shots.

Stemn said the Public Market’s staff reached out to them and they found the space “a good fit.”

“With the foot traffic, it makes sense,” Stemn said.

A second addition to the Public Market will be Afia’s Kitchen, which will be open from 11 a.m. to 8 p.m., Wednesday through Sunday. Afia’s was also issued a common victualler license on Thursday. It was unclear when that restaurant will open.
