WORCESTER—It’s all in the name. One of Worcester’s longest-running, established and well-known law firms has a new address. Bowditch has officially relocated to 446 Main St., taking up residence in the city’s Glass Tower—the tallest and most recognizable office building downtown.
The move represents a physical shift for the firm, but also a symbolic one: reaffirming Bowditch’s long-standing relationship with Worcester’s legal, business and civic communities. The firm has had a presence in Worcester since 1914.
“Worcester isn’t just where we work, it’s part of who we are,” said John Shoro, managing partner at Bowditch, in a statement. “Bowditch has proudly established its roots in this city, having been located here for over a century.”
The firm’s new office space features a modern design aimed at encouraging collaboration, according to the announcement, and offers increased accessibility for clients across corporate, institutional, and individual sectors.
The relocation comes as Worcester continues to experience growth in real estate, innovation and investment—trends Bowditch says are reflected in its own trajectory. “At Bowditch, our work mirrors these same trends—innovation in the work we do for our clients and investment in our team,” Shoro said.
To mark the opening, Bowditch hosted a private event for clients, colleagues and friends, featuring craft beverage and food pairings.
The firm maintains offices in Boston, Framingham, Plymouth and Worcester, and practices across areas including business and finance, litigation, real estate and environmental law, family law, and estate and tax planning.
