WORCESTER—The Worcester Regional Research Bureau is accepting nominations for the 2025 Thomas S. Green Public Service Awards, which recognize exceptional public servants in Worcester County.
Established in 1988, the annual award honors municipal and regional employees—excluding department and division heads—who have demonstrated outstanding competence, dedication beyond their duties, a cooperative attitude, and community involvement outside their job responsibilities.
“The Thomas S. Green Public Service Awards publicly recognize the extraordinary efforts of individuals across the region who have dedicated their careers and personal lives to our communities,” the Research Bureau stated in its announcement.
Nominations are due by March 14, 2025, and may be submitted online at wrrb.org or via email at wrrb@www.wrrb.org. The nomination form includes questions about the candidate’s contributions, and at least one letter of support is required. Additional letters and creative submissions, such as videos or multimedia presentations, are encouraged.
The Research Bureau, founded in 1985, is a non-partisan organization that conducts independent research and analysis to inform public debate and decision-making in Greater Worcester.
