WORCESTER—Worcester-based nonprofit Thrive Support & Advocacy has received a donation of 1,200 cheeseburgers, hamburgers, and chicken sandwiches from the Worcester Bravehearts. This contribution will help feed hundreds of families this holiday season through Thrive’s Flourish at Thrive food pantry.

Located on Grove Street in Worcester, Flourish at Thrive is a collaborative effort between Thrive Support & Advocacy and Worcester Polytechnic Institute (WPI). The pantry provides food essentials to WPI students and families supported by Thrive, particularly those with intellectual and developmental disabilities.

Open multiple times a week, Flourish at Thrive relies heavily on community support. Alongside this recent donation, the pantry is seeking contributions of non-perishable items such as canned goods, cereals, baby foods, and allergen-free staples like gluten-free pasta and nut-free spreads.

By offering allergen-friendly and specialized foods, the pantry aims to address the unique needs of local families. Community members are encouraged to donate and help make a difference this holiday season.
