WORCESTER—Opening its doors in February of 2023, Noel Stemn started up Woo Juice —his first business—because he said he wanted to “promote healthier choices and make nutritious options more accessible in Worcester.”

Woo Juice offers freshly pressed juices, smoothies, wellness shots, and detoxifying juice cleanses.

This Small Business Saturday, Woo Juice is offering 10% off all juices, smoothies, and wellness shots.

Woo Juice is located at 22 Front St. and Worcester Public Market, 160 Green St., both in Worcester.

Why Worcester and why this specific location in the city? I really wanted to do something that would help impact the community of Worcester because I grew up and believe in this community. I want Woo Juice to continue to educate on nutrition, and provide healthy alternatives to a lot of the junk food options in the area. The downtown location in the midtown mall is centrally located, which makes Woo Juice accessible to many Worcester neighborhoods and people.

What do you enjoy most about running your business? Interacting with the customers and seeing how our products impact the community.

Biggest challenge/struggle? Balancing the day-to-day operations while strategizing for growth and expansion can be difficult.

How do local policies or regulations affect you?
Compliance with local health and safety regulations ensures we provide our customers with a safe and sanitary environment while supporting our commitment to the quality of our products.

Supporting local businesses strengthens Worcester’s economy, creates jobs, and fosters a vibrant community. By choosing to shop local, you’re directly investing in your neighbors and the unique character of our city. Starting on Small Business Saturday, Nov. 30, enjoy free parking at all on-street metered spots and select municipal lots every Saturday through Dec. 28. Plus, Union Station Garage offers free parking on Saturday, Dec. 7.
