WORCESTER—New England Patriots alumni Andre Tippett and Patrick Pass joined Worcester Public Schools leadership last week as the New England Patriots Foundation awarded Chandler Elementary Community School a $10,000 NFL Play 60 grant for continuing play space renovations, WPS announced.
Chosen as a Patriots Foundation Adopt-a-School partner in September, Chandler Elementary has recently benefited from play space improvements thanks to a generous local donation from Anthony Rossi. The Patriots Foundation further supported these enhancements with its contribution on Wednesday.

The recent improvements, initiated by Rossi’s donation, include new pavement, painted lines, and the addition of basketball hoops.
The Patriots Foundation will build on Rossi’s contribution by awarding Chandler Elementary Community School additional funds from a $10,000 NFL Play 60 grant, which can be used to purchase more equipment for their play space.

Owner Robert Kraft established the New England Patriots Foundation in 1994 to give back to the communities the Patriots call home.
The foundation’s mission is to support individuals and families who are often marginalized in today’s society.
By implementing year-round programming and supporting philanthropic agencies, the over-arching goal of the foundation is to help build stronger communities throughout New England.
