Beechwood named in Yankee Mag’s ‘best of NE’ editors’ choice

Yankee Magazine honors Worcester’s Beechwood Hotel as the best downtown Worcester hotel, adding to the AAA Four Diamond property’s growing list of accolades

WORCESTER—Yankee Magazine recently recognized Worcester’s Beechwood Hotel with a prestigious Best of New England Editors’ Choice Award. The AAA Four Diamond luxury hotel was named the Best Downtown Worcester Hotel by Yankee’s editors, who praised the hotel’s amenities, including its Sonoma restaurant.

“The outdoor patio at Sonoma, the hotel restaurant, serves up a robust breakfast menu that will get your day started off right,” the editors noted.

The 2023 Annual Travel Guide, published in the May/June issue of Yankee, features state-by-state recommendations for the best places to stay, eat, and visit across New England, including Boston and Worcester.

“We are very grateful to the editorial staff at Yankee Magazine for choosing the Beechwood Hotel for a 2023 Best of New England Editors’ Choice Award. It is quite an honor,” said Sayed Saleh, Beechwood Hotel asset manager and managing director, in a press release. “Our mission is to provide exceptional service and upscale accommodations with a passion for hospitality.”

As the only AAA Four Diamond-rated hotel in Central Massachusetts since 2010, the Beechwood has earned multiple accolades, including Tripadvisor Travelers’ Choice for over a decade and U.S. News & World Report’s ranking as one of the “Best Hotels in Massachusetts.”

Yankee Magazine has a large travel audience, known for influencing local tourism, and the award further cements Beechwood’s position as a top destination in the region.

“We always aim to provide our guests with the best in service and accommodations,” added Saleh, expressing gratitude to the many guests who choose to stay at the Beechwood.
