Chipotle opens new restaurant on Worcester’s South Side

The new Stafford Street location brings about 30 jobs and expands the fast-casual chain’s presence in Worcester

Burritos, bowls and tacos are now on the menu on Worcester’s South Side as Chipotle Mexican Grill has opened a new restaurant at 105 Stafford St.

The restaurant, which opened Wednesday, is open daily from 10:45 a.m. to 10 p.m. and marks the latest addition to Worcester’s growing lineup of national restaurant chains.

According to the company, the location is expected to employ approximately 30 people. Chipotle said it is continuing to hire, offering benefits that include performance bonuses, a debt-free college degree program, English as a Second Language courses and mental health benefits for employees and their families.

Customers can also try the chain’s current limited-time menu offerings, including Chipotle Honey Chicken and Cilantro Lime Sauce, as well as its recently introduced high-protein menu.

The company, not surprisingly, is also encouraging customers to enroll in its rewards program, which offers points toward free menu items and other promotions, similar to every other fast food chain on the planet.

The new restaurant expands Chipotle’s footprint in Worcester, where the company already operates locations in other parts of the city.
