WORCESTER—The Greater Worcester Community Foundation (GWCF) has announced the formation of its new Professional Advisors Council, a group of financial, legal, and estate planning experts committed to fostering stronger connections between the foundation and the region’s professional advisor community.
According to the foundation, the council will play a key role in shaping strategies that help advisors guide their clients in aligning charitable giving with financial and estate planning goals.
“Professional advisors are essential partners for our community foundation. They help clients align their charitable giving with their financial and estate planning goals,” said Pete Dunn, president & CEO of GWCF, in the announcement. “By working together, we can ensure philanthropy is both purposeful and impactful, creating lasting benefits for donors and our region.”
The Professional Advisors Council will:
- Provide feedback on charitable giving strategies that play a role in clients’ financial and estate plans
- Develop a deeper understanding of philanthropy’s role in financial advising
- Offer a network for professionals to exchange ideas and insights
- Enhance awareness of Worcester County’s community needs
