WORCESTER—Worcester police detectives are investigating a fatal shooting that occurred early Monday morning on Dorchester Street.
At approximately 2:35 a.m. on Dec. 16 officers responded to reports of a man shot inside a truck. When officers arrived, they were flagged down and directed to an unconscious 28-year-old man in the vehicle.
The victim, who had sustained gunshot wounds, received medical aid on the scene before being transported to a local hospital, where he was pronounced deceased.
Detectives have begun a follow-up investigation, and the case remains ongoing.
