WORCESTER—The Worcester Railers released their full 2025–26 regular season schedule Thursday, with opening weekend set for Oct. 18 and 19 at the DCU Center against the Maine Mariners and Adirondack Thunder.

The puck drops for this Saturday night game at 6:05 p.m., with Sunday’s matchup slated for 3:05 p.m. The Railers are entering their eighth ECHL season as the New York Islanders’ affiliate.

“Revealing our schedule is always one of the most exciting times of the year,” Railers Chief Operating Officer Michael G. Myers said in the announcement. “We’re looking forward to welcoming back the best fans in ECHL hockey.”

This season’s calendar includes 36 home games, nine different opponents, and two out-of-division teams. The Florida Everblades make their first trip to Worcester since 2021, and the Railers head to South Dakota to face the Rapid City Rush for the first time in franchise history. The Greensboro Gargoyles, a new North Division team, make their first visit to the DCU Center on Nov. 22.

Among this year’s promotions, the Railers have designated six nights as marquee events:

  • Opening Night – Saturday, Oct. 18
  • Hockey Fights Cancer Night – Saturday, Nov. 8
  • IceCats Night – Saturday, Jan. 10
  • Star Wars Day – Sunday, Feb. 1
  • Pink in the Rink – Saturday, Feb. 14
  • Monkey Wrenches Night – Saturday, Feb. 28

The club again offers a 10-game mini-plan, which includes tickets to five of the six top promotional nights, plus five additional games. Fans who purchase before June 30 will also get free access to IceCats Night. Mini-plan sales begin May 21.

All Saturday home games will retain the 6:05 p.m. start time, and all 72 games—home and away—will be broadcast on 98.9 NASH Icon and FloHockey.
