Railers name David Aitken team president in leadership change

Move comes after end of 2025–26 season; team thanks outgoing president Kim Golinski

WORCESTER—The Worcester Railers have named David Aitken as the team’s new president, the organization announced Monday, marking a leadership transition following the conclusion of the 2025–26 season.

Aitken, who previously served as the Railers’ vice president of ticket sales and corporate partnerships, assumes the role effective immediately. The team also announced the departure of Kim Golinski, thanking her for her contributions during her tenure.

Aitken brings more than 15 years of experience in the sports industry, including prior roles as director of ticket sales for the Rochester Americans and Rochester Knighthawks. His background includes work in revenue strategy, fan engagement and organizational development, according to the announcement.

“It’s a privilege to step into this role and lead the Worcester Railers,” Aitken said in the announcement. “I look forward to building on the momentum of the past season and continuing to elevate the fan experience.”

The leadership change comes just after the Railers wrapped up their 2025–26 campaign at home on Sunday. The team reported growth in partnerships, ticket sales and merchandise during the season, setting franchise records in each category, according to the announcement.

The organization did not provide additional details about Golinski’s departure or the timing of the transition.
