Rucker Investments, the private investment firm founded by Worcester businessman Cliff Rucker, has expanded its executive leadership team with a new senior hire and two internal promotions as the company continues to grow its portfolio of businesses.
The firm announced Monday that Matt Barr has been appointed chief revenue officer, while Jennifer Barys has been promoted to chief financial officer and Joseph Morales has been elevated to senior vice president and general counsel.

According to the announcement, Barr joins Rucker Investments from Breezeway, where he held a senior leadership role focused on revenue growth, commercial strategy and business development. In his new position, he will oversee revenue strategy and support the continued growth of both Rucker Investments and its portfolio companies.
“Matt brings a strong track record of building teams, driving growth, and creating long-term value,” founder Cliff Rucker said in the announcement. “His experience will be an asset as we continue to expand our portfolio and invest in businesses with significant growth potential.”
The company also promoted Jennifer Barys, a founding member of Rucker Investments, to chief financial officer. According to the announcement, Barys has overseen the firm’s financial strategy, operational performance and portfolio growth since the company’s launch.

Joseph Morales has been promoted to senior vice president and general counsel. In his expanded role, he will continue overseeing the firm’s legal strategy and governance while supporting acquisitions, portfolio operations and other strategic initiatives.
“Jen and Joe have each played an integral role in the continued success of Rucker Investments,” Rucker said in the announcement. “Their leadership, expertise, and commitment to our companies have helped position the firm for continued growth, and these promotions reflect the impact they make every day.”
Founded in 2018, Rucker Investments is a privately held family investment firm with holdings in private equity, real estate, sports, entertainment and hospitality. The company said the expanded leadership team will help support its long-term growth strategy and future investment opportunities.
