Thrive honors Saint-Gobain with Standing Ovation award

The award recognizes the company’s contributions to supporting individuals with disabilities

WORCESTER—Thrive Support & Advocacy has named Saint-Gobain the recipient of its 2025 Standing Ovation Award, recognizing the company’s ongoing support for individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities (IDD) in Central Massachusetts.

The award, established in 2020, honors organizations that share Thrive’s mission of fostering independence, inclusion, and empowerment for individuals with IDD.

“Saint-Gobain’s contributions have created a tremendous ripple effect, touching the lives of those served by Thrive and beyond,” said Sean Rose, president and CEO of Thrive Support & Advocacy, in a press release. “The organization demonstrates the importance and impact of community coming together, and they deserve a resounding standing ovation from our organization and those we serve.”

Saint-Gobain, a global manufacturer of materials and solutions, operates a major manufacturing site in Worcester and has been a key supporter of Thrive’s programs. The company has actively engaged in Thrive’s mission, helping individuals with IDD access opportunities to live fulfilling and self-directed lives.

Based in Marlborough, Thrive Support & Advocacy serves more than 1,200 individuals and families across Worcester County and Middlesex West. The nonprofit offers a range of services, including community residences, recreational programs, and family support initiatives.
