WORCESTER—Two Bowditch & Dewey partners have been recognized among central Massachusetts’ top legal professionals.
Lynette Paczkowski, a partner in the firm’s family law practice, and Peter Martin, a partner specializing in nonprofit law, were both named Legal Luminaries by Massachusetts Lawyers Weekly. The new program highlights lawyers who have shaped their communities and advanced the practice of law across the region.
“Lynette and Peter’s recognition as Legal Luminaries is a testament to their expertise and passion in their practice areas,” said John F. Shoro, Bowditch’s managing partner, in the announcement. “Both have proven to be successful advocates for their clients across central Massachusetts and have built exceptional reputations in the community.”
Paczkowski joined Bowditch in 2008 and is known for guiding clients through complex family law matters, including prenuptial agreements, divorce, and custody disputes. She also handles trust and estate litigation in Probate and Family Court.
“I am deeply honored to be named a Legal Luminary by Massachusetts Lawyers Weekly,” Paczkowski said in the release. “To be receiving this recognition among a distinguished group of colleagues and leaders in the legal field is a testament to not just my own personal achievement but the collective achievement of the legal community across central Massachusetts.”

Martin, who joined Bowditch in 2001, focuses on nonprofit and healthcare law, advising organizations on governance, compliance, and regulatory issues.
“To be selected as a Legal Luminary is a true privilege,” Martin said. “It’s inspiring to be recognized alongside accomplished colleagues and it demonstrates Bowditch’s commitment to excellence in serving all of our clients.”
Both attorneys will be honored at a Massachusetts Lawyers Weekly event on December 9.
Bowditch & Dewey, which has offices in Worcester, Boston, Framingham and Plymouth, has more than 70 attorneys representing clients in business, family, and institutional law across Massachusetts and beyond.
