WORCESTER—The Worcester Public Library Foundation is hosting its much anticipated annual “Celebrate Our Library” fundraiser on Thursday, Nov. 14, from 6-9 p.m. at the Main Library, 3 Salem Square.
This signature event supports the library’s mission to nurture learning and promote intellectual freedom. The evening includes cocktails, food stations, and a special author panel moderated by Stephanie Pasha, featuring acclaimed authors Jayne Allen, Byron Lane, Courtney Maum, and J. Courtney Sullivan.
Funds raised support critical library services, ensuring the continuation of enriching resources for the Worcester community. These grants will help expand access to diverse collections, programming for all ages, and other vital initiatives that promote education and personal growth.
Tickets are available for $150 per person, which includes a book from one of the featured authors. A
ttendees will also participate in a fund-a-need auction, which will directly benefit the library’s services. This year’s author panel promises an engaging discussion, covering topics from social issues to personal journeys, reflecting the powerful role of storytelling in society.
