WORCESTER—A healthcare provider based in the Southwest has expanded into Central Massachusetts following the acquisition of four former Saint Vincent Medical Group practices, according to a company announcement.
HealthyU, which operates primary and specialty care clinics in California and Arizona, completed the transaction in December. The deal brings four locations—in Worcester, Shrewsbury, Auburn and Sterling — under the HealthyU banner.
The Worcester location is at 102 Shore Drive, Suite 403.
“We are very excited to be entering the east coast and bringing more individuals and families access to quality, personalized healthcare,” HealthyU Chief Executive Officer Varesh Chaurasia said in the announcement. “Our model continues to grow because patients are seeking wellness-driven, patient-centered care.”
According to the release, all four practices will retain their existing care teams and continue providing services that include family medicine, internal medicine, cardiology and geriatrics. Patients will continue to have access to routine and sick visits, preventive screenings, immunizations, chronic disease management, mental health wellness services and senior care.
“Our team is committed to providing a seamless transition to patients,” said Dr. Lauren Havard, HealthyU’s chief medical officer, in the announcement. “This expansion reflects our continued commitment to accessible, personalized healthcare that prioritizes outcomes, wellness, and whole-person care.”
HealthyU was founded in December 2021 and has expanded rapidly since then, according to the company. The organization now operates 26 locations and employs more than 200 medical professionals and support staff.
