New director of finance at Notre Dame Academy

Susan Begley was hired to fill this key leadership role

WORCESTER—There’s a new face behind the director of finance’s desk at Notre Dame Academy. Susan Begley has been hired for the position, overseeing the school’s financial strategy and operational efficiency at the all-girls independent school.

It’s a key leadership role at this all-girls independent school in Worcester.

“We are delighted to welcome Susan to our Notre Dame Academy team,” said Dr. Marilyn Tencza, Notre Dame Academy principal, in a statement. “Her expertise in finance and operations will be instrumental in supporting our continued success and ensuring the effective management of our financial resources and operational processes.”

Begley has an extensive background in finance, operations, and human resources background, said the announcement.

According to a press release, “Susan joins Notre Dame at an exciting time as the school continues to plan for enrollment growth and investment in its 13-acre campus. Her leadership and experience will help guide Notre Dame through new opportunities and challenges.”

Before Notre Dame, Begley held key roles at Worcester Ophthalmology Associates and UMASS Memorial Healthcare’s Barre Family Health Center, where she successfully managed day-to-day operations and developed and implemented long-range strategic plans.

“I am thrilled to join Notre Dame Academy and contribute to this wonderful school’s continued growth and success,” said Begley in a statement. “I look forward to collaborating with the talented team here to strengthen our financial position and enhance operational efficiency.”
