WORCESTER— The people who make a living crafting press releases sent one of their own this week: the Greater Worcester chapter of the Public Relations Society of America (PRSA) announced its 2026 Board of Directors, set to begin their terms on Jan. 1.

Now in its third year, the chapter said the incoming board brings “a wealth of experience, energy, and innovative ideas” to help guide the organization’s next phase of growth and expand opportunities for members across Central Massachusetts.

“I’m grateful to serve as president of PRSA Greater Worcester and to continue to expand our small but mighty board,” said incoming President Cristal Steuer, associate vice president at TVP Communications, in the announcement. “In the year ahead, the board is focused on creating even more opportunities for our members to connect, learn, and exchange ideas. We aim to make PRSA Greater Worcester a go-to hub for public relations professionals in our community as they advance in their careers and make a difference in our field.”

The 2026 board includes Steuer as president; Kristine Maloney, vice president at TVP Communications, as immediate past president; Lisa Swanson, CEO of the Better Business Bureau of Central New England, as president-elect; and Caitlin Lubelcyzk, vice president of marketing and communications at the Worcester Regional Chamber of Commerce, as secretary.

Dominique Goyette-Connerty, owner of Evergreen Marketing, will serve as communications chair, while Tim Hally, co-founder of Munq, takes on the role of membership chair. Lisa Malo, marketing director of the Downtown Worcester Business Improvement District, will serve as programming chair. Rounding out the board are directors-at-large Kathleen Deal, owner of Elevated Graphic Designs, and Lorraine U. Martinelle, content manager at the University of Massachusetts Amherst.

Founded in 2023, the PRSA Greater Worcester chapter serves public relations and communications professionals throughout Central Massachusetts. The organization offers professional development programming, networking events, and educational opportunities for members “in a supportive community of like-minded professionals,” according to its website.
