WORCESTER—The Worcester Public Schools’ Night Life Continuing Education Division is set to welcome adult learners this fall with a diverse array of evening courses, offering both career technical training and lifelong learning opportunities.

Starting in September, the Night Life program holds classes at Worcester Technical High School, located at 1 Officer Manny Familia Way. The courses, which span from Tuesday, September 5, through Thursday, December 21, 2024, will take place in the evenings, catering to adults looking to enhance their skills or explore new interests.

Superintendent Dr. Rachel Monárrez highlighted the importance of continuous learning, stating in the announcement, “Learning is a lifelong journey, and our Night Life program provides valuable opportunities for adults to acquire new skills, whether they aim to advance in their careers or pursue personal interests. The combination of experienced instructors and state-of-the-art facilities at Worcester Technical High School offers an ideal setting for adult education.”

This fall’s career technical training includes courses in electrical wiring, diesel technology, plumbing, welding, medical assisting, and more. These programs are designed to equip adult students over the age of 18 with the skills and certifications necessary to launch or advance careers in high-demand trades.
