WORCESTER—Worcester residents are invited to attend a Lunch and Learn event on Wednesday, Sept. 11, to discuss the city’s Children & Youth Community Health Improvement Plan (CYCHIP).
The event, held from noon to 2 p.m. at Worcester City Hall, aims to engage the public in shaping the future of youth health and well-being.
The CYCHIP is being developed through a partnership between the Division of Youth Opportunities, the Division of Public Health, and the Coalition for a Healthy Greater Worcester.
It serves as a strategic roadmap to address the mental and physical health of the city’s youth, with a focus on increasing equitable outcomes across all demographics.
Attendees learn about the plan’s priorities and goals, while having the chance to ask questions and provide feedback. The plan seeks to improve youth health in Worcester by implementing strategies that address disparities and ensure access to essential resources.
RSVPs are encouraged, and complimentary lunch will be provided.
