State, Worcester police: still looking for Brittany Tee

Police are asking anyone with any information to call the tipline

State Police detectives assigned to the case along with the Worcester County District Attorney’s office released a statement on Tuesday evening to reassure the community they continue to investigate the disappearance of Brookfield woman Brittany Tee.

Tee, 35, was last seen on Jan. 10, 2023, in Brookfield in the area of Lewis Field on Main Street. She was reported missing to Brookfield Police on Friday, Jan. 13, 2023, by her family members.

In the weeks following Tee’s disappearance, law enforcement extensively searched the surrounding area, including by air and water with the assistance of helicopters, drones, K9s and trained civilian search teams.

The search teams included the Massachusetts State Police, the Special Emergency Response Team, State Police K-9 Unit, State Police Air Wing, State Police Marine Unit, Massachusetts Environmental Police, Brookfield Police and Fire Departments, and the Worcester Police Department.

Last month, members of the Massachusetts State Police Special Emergency Response Team along with the State Police Detectives assigned to the Worcester County District Attorney’s Office, working with the Brookfield Police and Fire Departments, returned to Brookfield and continued the ground search for Tee.

“The police have continued to follow up on all investigative leads and tips in this case,” said the release. “Investigators continue to receive tips regarding Tee’s disappearance.”
