WORCESTER COUNTY—Thrive Support & Advocacy, a Marlborough-based nonprofit serving individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities, has announced six leadership appointments, marking a significant step forward in its mission to empower communities across Central Massachusetts.
“These key appointments reflect both the dedication of our staff and the growth of our agency,” said Sean Rose, Thrive’s president and CEO, in the announcement. “We are thrilled to welcome new members and promote from within, ensuring we have the expertise needed to help the individuals we serve thrive.”
The appointments include both promotions and new hires:
- Nancy Bishop, of Spencer, joins Thrive as vice president of Individualized and Integrated Services, overseeing residential programs, family support services, and clinical operations. Bishop brings extensive experience as a former chief clinical officer in human services and holds degrees from Anna Maria College and Boston University.
- Guillermo Creamer Jr., of Worcester, has been promoted to director of residential services, where he will oversee three large-capacity community residences. Creamer, also a Worcester Human Rights Commissioner since 2021, has been with Thrive in various roles.
- DeMarr Langford, also of Worcester, joins as Division Director of Residential Services. Langford will manage three smaller-capacity community residences, leveraging his experience as a former program manager at another agency.
- Claire Jean-Michel, of North Smithfield, R.I., steps into the role of Director of Family Support, overseeing programs that provide direct assistance and guidance to families.
- Patrick Reardon, of Gardner, has been appointed assistant director of Community Services, focusing on In-Home and Community-Support Services.
- Tony Smith, of Worcester, has been promoted to Director of Community Employment and Internships, expanding vocational and employment opportunities for Thrive’s Marlborough and Worcester locations.
