WORCESTER—The 52nd annual Planting the Seed Foundation Toy Drive, hosted on Dec. 12 at Worcester Fitness, brought holiday cheer to over 3,500 children across Central Massachusetts. The event collected more than 10,000 gifts and gift cards, thanks to the generosity of donors and the dedication of volunteers.

The foundation partnered with Central Mass Housing Alliance, Worcester Housing Authority, and several local organizations to ensure seamless gift distribution, benefiting families in need during the holiday season.

While celebrating the success, the foundation highlights an ongoing need for gift cards for teens, a group often overlooked in holiday drives. Contributions are still welcome via Venmo (@Plantingtheseed) or by contacting info@plantingtheseed.org.

“We are deeply grateful for the community’s generosity,” said Molly O. McCullough, chair of Planting the Seed. “This year’s toy drive ensures thousands of children will have a brighter holiday season, but the need remains great.”

Special thanks were extended to Worcester Fitness for hosting, Creedon and Co. for food donations, and all sponsors and volunteers who made this effort possible. Together, they demonstrated the power of community in building brighter futures.
