WORCESTER—A man and woman were killed Thursday evening in a shooting at a Brookside Avenue apartment in Worcester, police reported.
Officers responded to reports of gunfire at around 6:21 p.m. and found two victims inside the apartment, both suffering from gunshot wounds.
The woman was pronounced dead at the scene, while the man, who sustained serious injuries, was transported to a hospital. He later succumbed to his injuries. Worcester Police detectives are investigating the case and have not yet released further details about the incident or possible suspects.
