WORCESTER—The Worcester Red Sox are taking their foot off the bag and running to 2026. The club announced that tickets for opening weekend and all April and May home games go on sale Black Friday, Nov. 28, the earliest release date in team history. Tickets for the popular “6/7 Day” — which this year includes a bobblehead giveaway featuring Clara, the Heart of the Commonwealth — are also available.

According to the team’s announcement, ticket prices start at $5, with sales offered online at woosox.com, by phone, and at the Polar Park ticket office. The WooSox also give MyTickets account holders a $10 ballpark credit usable through Dec. 1, part of a brief holiday promotion tied to the rollout.

The club’s sixth season in Worcester begins Friday, March 27, when the WooSox host the Syracuse Mets at 4:05 p.m. The home opener also marks the return of UniBank Fireworks, set that night to The Music of the Red Sox. From there, the spring calendar becomes its usual mix of theme nights, community events, and promotions aimed at families, local organizations and niche fan groups.

Among the early-season highlights: a Bad Bunny-themed fireworks show on April 10, a Taylor Swift “Showgirls” night with a pre-game bracelet-trading party on April 24, and the debut of the club’s “Art of the Woo” specialty jerseys on 508 Day, May 8. The release also notes the team’s first-ever Grateful Dead night on the same evening and a Star Wars-themed fireworks show on May 22.

While the full spring schedule includes dozens of individual promotions, a few have become staples drawing consistent crowds. “Tail-Waggin’ Tuesdays” again lets fans bring their dogs to the ballpark, Sunday home games continue to feature Kids Run the Bases, and Saturday nights wrap with on-field “Sunset Catch” sessions. The WooSox also host autograph sessions with players in April and May, presented by DCU.

Several cause-focused nights — ranging from Autism Acceptance to Nurses Appreciation to Endometriosis Awareness — return throughout the spring. According to the announcement, the WooSox use those dates to highlight local organizations and awareness campaigns.

School Vacation Week, presented by Southwick’s Zoo, will run from April 21–26, including the return of “Tendy Tuesday,” when children 12 and under can receive free chicken tenders and fries. The club will also hold three “Bark in the Park” games in March, April and May.

The WooSox plan to release their summer promotional calendar later in the season.
