WORCESTER—The city’s Declared Winter Parking Ban will be lifted at 7 p.m. Monday, Jan. 20.
Residents who used municipal garages during the ban have until 10 a.m. Tuesday, Jan. 21, to exit without charge. Regular parking rates resume for vehicles entering garages after 7 p.m. Monday.
With frigid temperatures forecasted, the city is activating warming centers on Tuesday, Jan. 21, and Wednesday, Jan. 22, at the following locations:
Tuesday:
- Worcester Public Library, 3 Salem Sq. – 9 a.m. to 8:30 p.m.
- Worcester Senior Center, 128 Providence St. – 9 a.m. to 4:30 p.m.
Wednesday:
- Worcester Public Library, 3 Salem Sq. – 9 a.m. to 8:30 p.m.
- Worcester Senior Center, 128 Providence St. – 9 a.m. to 4:30 p.m.
