WORCESTER—There’s going to be a new way of getting tickets to a Railers game.
KORE, which comes up with business solutions for the sports and entertainment industry, recently announced a new partnership with Worcester’s ice hockey team. The Railers will now use a new, advanced ticketing platform in an effort to enhance ticket sales and lead distribution processes.
David Aitken, VP of ticket sales and corporate partnerships for the Railers, emphasized the importance of having an automated ticketing data feed to streamline their sales efforts and improve efficiency.
“We wanted systems that worked together seamlessly,” said Aitken in a press release. “With KORE, we get automated pipeline reporting and the ability to push data back into our ticketing system via KORE’s Ticketing Data Manager (TDM) feature, which is crucial for our operations.”
In the short term, the ticketing team’s main focus is to link their CRM with KORE’s ticketing platform. The idea is to manage sales leads more effectively by giving them easy access to fan demographics and preferences. The platform also simplifies lead distribution and allows the launch of marketing campaigns directly from the Fan Finder tool.
Looking ahead, the Railers plan to create a comprehensive reporting suite for automated ticket sales reports, helping them analyze and act on data more efficiently, according to the announcement. They also intend to add KORE’s Sponsorship & Partner Management solution to streamline their partnership investments.
David Aitken, VP of Ticket Sales and Corporate Partnerships, who has previously used KORE’s platform, is confident in the positive impact it will have on the Railers’ operations.
“Having experienced the advantages of KORE’s platform firsthand, I knew it was the right choice for us,” Aitken said in a statement. “Plus, the ongoing strategy and success support from KORE set them apart from other solution providers.”
The Railers said in the announcement that this partnership is expected to significantly enhance their sales processes and fan engagement strategies.
