WORCESTER—Worcester police responded a ShotSpotter activation in the area of Shannon Street early Monday morning, arriving to a scene at which shots had evidently been fired, but there was no victim or shooter at the scene.
On Feb. 12, at about 3:16 a.m., officers investigated the scene and found evidence of a shooting, discovering later after checking local hospitals for potential gunshot victims a 17-year-old male victim, who had been pronounced dead. His name has not been released.
