WORCESTER/BOSTON—A Worcester man unlawfully residing in the U.S. has been indicted by a federal grand jury for allegedly trafficking firearms in the area.
Ranfli Felix Garcia Brito, 36, faces one count of dealing in firearms without a license. He was previously charged by criminal complaint on July 17, 2025, and remains in custody, according to a press release from federal authorities.
The charging documents allege that Garcia Brito sold more than 20 firearms during seven separate transactions between April 11 and July 10, 2025. In one instance, authorities say he sold an AR-15 style rifle and high-capacity magazines to an individual cooperating with law enforcement in a Walmart Supercenter parking lot in Worcester on April 11. He allegedly followed up with another sale of an AR-15 style rifle and a magazine loaded with 28 rounds of 5.56mm ammunition five days later at the same location.
According to the documents, Garcia Brito continued meeting with the same individual on five additional occasions, selling multiple firearms, large-capacity magazines, ammunition, a silencer, and a laser attachment.
The charge carries a maximum penalty of five years in prison, up to three years of supervised release, and a fine of up to $250,000. Garcia Brito is also subject to deportation after completing his sentence.
