WORCESTER—”The Walking Dead: Dead City” production continues its long run downtown next week, bringing another round of street closures as crews return to film scenes that have been underway since late fall.

The city announced Wednesday that Main Street closes from Federal Street to Front Street on Monday, Dec. 1, and Tuesday, Dec. 2 from 7 a.m. to noon. During both morning closures, City Hall visitors must park at the Pearl-Elm Garage at 20 Pearl St., with the city offering 30 minutes of validated parking before noon for those who bring their ticket inside.

Police manage detours and signage throughout the area, and while City Hall operations continue as usual, drivers should expect rolling closures tied to the production. On Monday, Dec. 1, crews also shut down Chatham Street from High Street to Main Street, Franklin Street from Main Street to Church Street and Portland Street from Franklin Street to Federal Street from 7 a.m. to 4 p.m.

The following day—Tuesday, Dec. 2—the same three streets will close again, with hours shifting slightly: Chatham Street will be restricted from 7 a.m. to 11 a.m., Franklin Street from 7 a.m. to 4 p.m. and Portland Street from 7 a.m. to 4 p.m., along with a closure on Salem Street from Franklin Street to Myrtle Street between 11 a.m. and 4 p.m.

Filming moves again on Wednesday, Dec. 3, when Federal Street from Main Street to Portland Street, Portland Street from Franklin Street to Myrtle Street and Franklin Street from Main Street to Church Street will close from 7 a.m. to 2 p.m.

On Thursday, Dec. 4, closures shift to Mechanic Street from Main Street to Commercial Street and Norwich Street from Mechanic Street to Foster Street, also from 7 a.m. to 2 p.m. The week wraps Friday, Dec. 5, with Franklin Street from Main Street to Church Street, Portland Street from Franklin Street to Federal Street and Salem Street from Franklin Street to Myrtle Street closed from 7 a.m. to 2 p.m.

Got that? We thought so.
